Size Matters
Size Matters! There’s nothing more more annoying than buying a candle, bringing it home, and then finding that you can’t even smell it. Most likely it’s because you bought the wrong size for the room. Apparently, there are rules. Like, the 8–10 rule. This rule states that for every 10 ft.². You should use an 8 ounce candle.
But here’s an easier way to remember:
4 to 8 ounce candles should be used in bathrooms, small bedrooms, and narrow entryways.
9 to 12 ounce candles should be used in bedrooms, and living rooms.
14 to 16 ounce candles should be used in kitchens, and master bedrooms.
If you have open floor plans, you should really be using 2 to 3 large size candles. Hope these tips help.
